NO MORE THAN 75 DEATHS IN POLICE CUSTODY EVER RECORDED THROUGHOUT THE APARTHEID PERIOD......ALTHOUGH EACH DEATH RECEIVED MASSIVE PUBLICITY OVERSEAS.... whereas the current 567 deaths in SAPS custody from January 1 2010 to Nov 29 2010 have received NO PUBLICITY abroad whatsoever... Nor drawn any kind of criticism from any human-rights organisations.
