MAY 29 2010 WEDNESDAY We have just received word from a well-informed American friend that a businessman, Mr Martin Christie, 47, who had just sold his Auto Retail Business, was gunned down in his front garden while he was watering his flowers on Wednesday-afternoon. A black man who was walking past just gunned him down. Nothing was robbed. Christie is in serious condition at a local hospital with injuries to his liver. His family now is making plans to leave SA as soon as he recovers.
