Wouter de Bruyn, 46, shot dead by three black males, home, Rooihuiskraal Centurion, May 1 2012 - "The world has one disciple less,' said pastor Mario Steyn of the "Living Word Church' in Brummeria about a member of his flock, Wouter de Bruyn, 46, who was shot dead on Tuesday evening by three armed attackers at his home. Their CCTV-video cameras' footage showed that the three black men had ambushed De Bruyn and wife Marieke as the couple arrived at their home just before 7pm, said a family member. They were driving their car into the garage: were plucked from their car, ordered to lay down on the floor and one black male then had simply shot the unarmed Mr De Bruyn through the right-shoulder, killing him. Mrs De Bruyn was left behind unharmed. They only took the couple's car: none of their other valuables were taken. The couple had recently had CCTV security cameras installed and the suspects can be clearly seen on the video. The couple married two years ago and had planned to go overseas next week. He worked as a sound-engineer.
