The Westonaria police system has to change before it is too late…I was badly beaten by the police on friday the 9th march 2012 (allegedly they said) for drinking and driving…instead of arresting me they first beat me, bruising my left eye. While the other ones where busy steping on my handcuffed hands resulting in painful injuries…i was with my other two friends who were also assaulted and were called names..One of my friend was forced to go so that she doesn’t see what was going-on..because she recognised one officer by the name of MIKE whom she says he stays in bekkersdal and she called his name and he asked other officers to take her away saying she has a big mouth..My other friend and I were then taken to police station where we were locked..my friend was released the following day with a fine of R150. I was supposed to have been released with a bail-out of R800 but i was kept in custody until monday saying “i have assaulted the police”.

I was extremely damaged on the eye that i wanted to go to the doctor but they refused…

They didn’t want me to go out because of the bruises they have caused..

The commander of the station is also behind all these nonsense because she was also there in the police station when I was denied medical rights stipulated in the constitution of this country.

The minister has to take action against these rotten tomatoes in the SAPS…They meant to protect the public not the other way around.
