Ex-bodyguard Ianval Suiling Isaacs, 33, in court accused of stealing Police Minister Mathwethwa's laptop from his home
February 23 2012 Ianval Isaacs is charged with breaking into Police Minister Nathi Mathwethwa's house, stealing laptop and other personal effects.
He allegedly sold the items to his two co-accused: Amdat Hossain, 42, and Mohammad Shapul Islam, 34.
The case in Wynberg regional court was postponed to March 08, 2012 to enable the men's lawyer, Zirk Mackay, time to study the charges.
At a previous hearing, the Western Cape Directorate for Public prosecutions (DPP) had directed the court to prosecute the men.
All criminal charges involving police officials had to be referred to the DPP. - Sapa
