Juan Biederick's beloved dogs poisoned Waldek Street, Brakpan North
Brakpan-North family of Juan Biederick's beloved dogs - who were a part of their family for eight years - were poisoned.
Dogs are often poisoned with agricultural poison by armed gangs before they plan to attack families.
Mr Juan Biederick of Waldek Street said his wife and children were terribly distressed about the loss of their two Dalmations.
The poisoning occured last Wednesday. The last time they were seen alive was at 5pm by his brother in law Steven Pretorius, and they were still in good shape, he said.
Ju8an and wife Beatrice realised something was amiss after they'd taken the children to school. "Both animals were in the back of the yard and there was nothing we could do for them.'
There were clear traces that intruders had also been there and stolen their small barbeque, he said.
