E Cape woman stabbed 26 times, Dungu, no motive
2011-06-12- A 47-year-old woman was stabbed 26 times at her home in Dungu in the Eastern Cape, police said on Sunday.
"The woman's neighbours heard a noise on Saturday evening and went to her house to inspect... they found her dead inside with stab wounds everywhere," Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said.
"It was very dark and they may have seen one or two people running away."
The motive for the killing was not known and no arrests had been made.
