Five armed AK47-bombers attack Brackenhurst garage ATM, Alberton
On Tuesday April 12, at 20:36, the Engen garage on Vermooten Street in Brackenhurst was robbed and the ATM got bombed.
There was a five-men gang of black males involved, wearing balaclavas and AK47s - and who arrived in a luxurious Mercedes Benz.
However just before the attack, two black men had arrived at the garage asking for directions, and one man asked if there was a bathroom he could use.

A little while later five men armed with AK47 military assault carbines, their heads covered in balaclavas, ordered the employees and manager of the garage to lie down.
They stuck a bomb on the ATM, which exploded, and then proceeded to also loot the shop. They escape in a Mercedes Benz. No one was injured.
The Brackendowns SAPS informed the RECORD that they were informed of the robbery taking place when a member of the public pulled up at the garage and saw what was happening.
"We are not certain whether the first two men who arrived are also linked with the robbery and bombing," said Brackendowns w/o Jeanette Makhubela.
Two of the men that are possibly linked to the crime are being questioned.
