Jack and Alice Botha were attacked in Benoni and died from their brutal injuries after attack on 12 February 2010: this case Nr 548/02/2010 now has its new trial date set fromr 16 to 25 April 2012 in the Delmas High Court:
Two of three suspects remain on trial: names: David Kgoatla and Stephen (Mchacho) Seipeng. The third suspect Abel Skyzer Mokoena was excused from court in oct 2011, because of insufficient evidence.

All three suspects are from Daveyton and not previously known to their victims.

Mrs Botha was so brutally assaulted that she died the next day from her injuries.

Mr Botha sustained severe brain-damage and lived on -- suffering great pain -- for another five months before he died on July 15 2010 from the brain injuries sustained in the attack.
